The Technology

ICU Security's digital video motion detectors use intelligent contouring and convolution algorithms to distinguish shapes in the image. This minimizes false alarms. Two types of alarms are generated when the DVMD3 & DVMD4 detect qualified movements: a contact used to turn on lights or sirens or be connected to an alarm panel of a security system; or IR (infrared) codes to turn consumer appliances such as TVs and VCRs on for automatic viewing and recording. The type of alarm output can be set for desired applications.
