DVMD4C & DVMD8C

ICU Security Inc. has designed the DVMD4C & 8C series of products to satisfy the most demanding needs of CCTV security systems. It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to almost any CCTV environment. The DVMD 4C & 8C series combines all the features for a self-contained CCTV system with 4 or 8 video camera inputs, 2 monitor outputs and time-lapse/VCR control. Multi-channel DVMDs offer solutions to a wide variety of applications from government and law enforcement to business and residential.

The Technology

A high performance processor and a Dynamic Looped Pipeline architecture designed by ICU Security, Inc. are incorporated in the DVMD4C & 8C series of products to perform high-speed image-processing functions. The system uses highly integrated components to ensure the best performance and reliability. Multiple levels of verification are incorporated to minimize false alarms and provide a consistent response. The DVMD4C & 8C provide both alarm and video output from alarmed cameras. Individual alarm outputs for each channel can trigger time-lapse recorders, matrix switchers, quads, video printers, or video transmission devices. Both units feature built-in sequential switchers and two monitor outputs; both monitors can be assigned sequential switching, and the #2 monitor also can act as a call monitor to display alarms and alarm sequences. Both units offer looping BNC inputs /outputs.
