Participation in ASIS (American Society of Industrial Security).
The following is a group of products that ICU Security Inc. will exhibit at the ASIS show in Las Vegas, NV. Sept.26 29, 1999:
Single-channel Digital Video Motion Detectors (DVMD1, DVMD2, DVMD3 & DVMD4)
Using breakthrough real-time image processing techniques, DVMDs give their users the power and flexibility to solve the most demanding applications requiring motion detection or scene analysis. ICU Security has a complete range of Digital Video Motion Detectors; from the DVMD-1 which is the state of the art technology offering the most complete list of adjustable features for accurate motion detection to the DVMD-4 which is the most economical video motion detector in the market today.
During the ASIS show, customers of DigiSpec will be invited to visit our booth to examine our DVMDs. They will be pleased with the performance of ICU products and more so with our aggressive pricing strategy.
To demonstrate the effectiveness of our DVMDs during the Las Vegas Show, we will place a hundred-dollar bill on an illustration board and as the show attendees visit our booth, we will encourage them to try and take the hundred-dollar bill. If they could succeed without activating our motion detectors, the money will be theirs to keep.
Mini CCTV Camera (ICUCAMs),
These "cute" mini cameras are designed to be ergonomically pleasing in home and business environments. Their neutral white color and ball shape, make them attractively fitting to any décor. They can be easily mounted to almost any surface with just three screws or with Velcro. They use a high resolution CCD imager, which adjusts automatically to different lighting situations by using an electronic shutter with a wide range of 1/60s to 1/100,000s. In addition, its 0.1 lux sensitivity allows the camera to view images in dimly lit environments. The base of the camera is equipped with an RCA jack for video input, as well as a power input. Upon request, the power and video jacks can be eliminated and instead, the video and power wiring can be pulled through the back mounting for direct installation into your wall.
Mini Cameras with built-in Video Motion Detectors (MotionCams)
The MOTIONCAM series of ICU Security's mini cameras are the ICUCAMs with built-in Digital Video Motion Detection. They are designed to provide complete security solutions. An intelligent image processing is performed to detect motion in the camera image, and generate an alarm in response. Unlike PIR sensors that use pulse- count motion-detection algorithm, ICU's MOTIONCAMs use intelligent contouring and convolution algorithm to distinguish shapes in the image. This minimizes false alarms caused by gusts of wind, light, heat, etc. Two types of alarms are generated when MOTIONCAMs detect qualified movements. One is a contact alarm used to turn on lights or sirens, or may be connected to an alarm panel of a security system. And the other is IR (Infrared) code to turn consumer appliances such as TVs and VCRs on for automatic viewing and recording. . MOTIONCAMs are ideal for home applications and office environments
Digital Video Direction Analyzer (Upstream1)
This image processor, using a proprietary imaging technology by ICU Security Inc., is designed to isolate a single direction of movement from multiple moving targets within a scene and generate an alarm response. The Upstream1 is ideally suited for access control in airport control lane applications. With FAA approval, system integrators specializing in Airport Security have included the Upstream1 in their recent projects across the United States and Canada (e.g. Saint Louis, MO; Sacramento, CA; Midland, TX and Calgary, Canada).
Multi-channel Digital Video Motion Detectors
ICU Security Inc. is currently working on development of multi-channel video motion detectors as follows:
- • ICU-8M: 8-channel video motion detector with built-in switcher and a hand-held remote control.
• DVMD-16C: Modular chassis to hold up to 16 channels. DVMD-1 & 2 modules will fit in this chassis. DVMD-16C can be used as a desktop or rack mounted system.
